Andrew and Robert are capturing the “weep” curve of the Dragons Wings. The “weep” is the natural shape that came from letting the frame of the wing hang freely in gravity. They are Was it Andrew that asked, If we just go ahead and mount the Dragon wing panels on the humerus bone will gravity give us the shape we want? So we gave it try. Jeff said it beautifully, “It appears to have a cup shape in it..which to me indicates movement.”
Next up? How to we lock that gorgeous shape into the flexing steel?
A pipe, a metal rod some sort of bony structure?
How do we infill the wing panels? Hmmm, not sure yet.
